This is a Honda S2000. Enough Said.We flew to Philadelphia and traveled to a suburb to take a look at this car. And if we were interested in buying it, we were going to drive it back to Toronto. Chris ended up buying the car! Sweet!
While we were in the city, we took advantage of the cities rich history. Below is the Liberty Bell. This bell was rung on July 8th, 1776 in Philadelphia right before the "Declaration of Independence" was read to the citizens. This bell has been a constant symbol of nationhood and freedom in the United States. It has been associated with the American Revolution, and abolishing slavery. It is internationally recongnized as symbolizing Liberty.
There is a well known crack in the bell. The crack was created the very first time it was rung in 1753. It is not known when the second crack apeared but over the years it has been repaired.It is insribed with: "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof—Lev. XXV, v. x. By order of the Assembly of the Province of Pensylvania for the State House in Philad."
Another famous location is "LOVE PARK". This is one of the most famous places to skateboard in the world. There were lots of people skating around while we were there. Usually the fountain is empty and you can skate in it. Now, it's actually illegal to skateboard there. Also there are some very large stair cases to do tricks over. If you watch a skateboarding video, this park will most likely apear in it atleast once. The LOVE sign in red below is one of it's famous symbols. It always reminds me of a Will Smith video when he standing ontop of the red LOVE sign rapping.
Below, is the City Hall in downtown Philadelphia. We thought that it was an amazing looking building and very distinct from the buildings around. So we took a few snap shots.
We couldn't go to Philly without retracing the famous steps of Rocky Balboa. These are the very steps that he runs up while training. It is actually the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Now, there is actually a Statue of Rocky at the top of the steps ! Also, another interesting fact I discovered is that in the 1996 Summer Olympic Torch Relay, Dawn Staley was chosen to run the torch up these very steps.

From the top of the stairs, we get an excellent view of the city skyline. If you follow the road into the city, you can see City Hall Steaple lit up very bright.
So, After getting a Philly Cheese Steak we took off and drove home. The drive is about 8 hours. We stopped over somewhere in between for the night. We also took a detour and stopped in Rochester just passed the border. It's a nice but desolate city. Cool Trip!
